Raised in a family of computer programmers and trained in traditional Chinese watercolor painting, Daniel brings a distinctive blend of technical precision and artistic intuition to his work. This unique background gives him a holistic approach to problem-solving, seamlessly navigating both creative and technical challenges that arise during production.
His work has been featured in publications such as Motionographer, Stash Media, and Abduzeedo. In 2012, he was named the Cut & Paste Motion/Animation Champion for Los Angeles, an achievement earned prior to receiving his BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in 2013.
Daniel began his career freelancing with leading Los Angeles studios including Blind, Psyop, Cantina Creative, and B-Reel, later taking on a full-time role as Animation Supervisor at Blind.
In recent years, his focus has shifted toward collaborating directly with major corporate clients, including OpenAI, Apple, Sony, and AT&T, where he continues to bring brands to life through thoughtful, technically driven motion design.
